Here at Bastion we like to keep a casual atmosphere around us. We are Defiant and raid on Wolfsbane. We have quite a few married couples that enjoy the game with us and as such require our members to be at least 18 years old. As with most guilds, Bastion does not tolerate drama and reserves the right to squelch as needed for the greater good. We don't take ourselves that seriously and find it the best cure for elitism (also not tolerated).

There's also a funny story involving the guild banner, not meant in anyway to be offensive to Ray Charles.

Raiding: 

We raid Monday through Thursday from 7pm PST to 9pm PST, but Sunday from 6pm PST to 9pm PST (server time). We have downed Drak and the three mini bosses in Infernal Dawn, but because of some more experienced players stepping down since then we're having to take a step backwards and work on HK with some newer members.

Loot is handled by EP/GP that was recently revamped and reset to where the GP dictates your priority more than the EP does. New recruits get a helping hand to their EP after their trial period is over.

Raid Eligibility: 

We do not require PA levels. We do not require attendance. We do not require a water/fire resist vial, but you will be benched if you do not have the recommended resists for the bosses that call for it. We do wipe on trash. Guild leadership doesn't get angry and will not call you out (though we may take you aside if it seems to be a constant problem). This is where the casual comes in and is what we pride ourselves on. 

Who are we looking for? 

We still have quite a few remaining from our solid raid core, but roughly 1/3 of the raid is made up of people who are just entering HK and need some guidance. Ideally we want people who are ready for ID but still want to be in HK to help the rest of the guild members out. If you're newer to HK yourself we only ask that you try to have your water resist ready! We're hoping this step backwards can turn into a leap forward and we can continue progressing into ID soon.

While gear is always nice we recruit based on personality first. We are looking for mature-ish adults who play to have fun and socialize. The beauty of an MMO is the fact that you get to meet people from all over the world that you wouldn't normally interact with. We are an equal opportunity guild and enjoy the company of our raiders.
